     Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Tokat Script and Traditional Handicrafts Application and Research Center; 

     To support the development of the province of Tokat, primarily the regional economy, in areas such as textiles (Tokat scrip) and traditional handicrafts, semi-precious stones. To conduct research and applications in the fields of Tokat script, textile and traditional handicrafts, and to carry out activities to increase employment in related fields in the region. Thus, it is one of the aims of our research center to direct the trends in the country in the field of Tokat script, textile, traditional handicrafts and stonemasonry and to work to increase Turkey's recognition in the field of design in the world by carrying out activities that will ensure and strengthen university-industry cooperation. In addition, to design new products, to prepare prototypes, to ensure the adaptation of collaborating stakeholders, if any, to the production system, to create new brands in the relevant fields or to work to increase the value of existing brands, to ensure the continuous improvement of the products developed or already produced in industrial institutions and to support the improvement of product quality, to make innovations to ensure that the products produced in the relevant industrial organizations meet customer expectations, to ensure the research and implementation of cost-reducing, productivity and capacity-enhancing innovations, To carry out studies for the development of new production technologies and to provide multiple collaborations in this regard, to provide consultancy, testing and analysis services (R&D, design, product development and so on) upon requests from public, private sector and commercial institutions, to cooperate between the University and the surrounding industrial institutions, chambers of commerce and organized industrial zones in the field of art, design, technology and production, to cooperate and partner with universities and other centers in the fields of institutions and design in Turkey and abroad, to create knowledge and experience accumulation related to design, product development, application, technological approaches and research; To design new products, to produce sample products and to obtain and encourage the registration of designs, patents and utility models in order to provide new products or services needed in the relevant industrial branches, to provide support for design and product development projects to be carried out by university faculty members, to carry out encouraging activities in research, publication and registration in these fields, to carry out publication and promotion activities related to the Center, It is planned to carry out these activities in Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Tokat Manuscript and Traditional Handicrafts Application and Research Center by contributing to the development of the university, preparing projects, organizing training programs, providing scientific opinions and similar services to national and international public and private sector institutions and organizations in line with the objectives of the Center and providing opportunities for the development of joint projects with public institutions and organizations related to the purpose of the Center.
